Two Arrested, Drugs Seized

On August 24, 2022, at approximately 3:55 PM, the Guadalupe County Narcotics Task Force conducted a narcotics operation in the 2200 block of N Guadalupe St (Manuel C Castilla Park), Seguin, Guadalupe County, Texas, 78155. The Guadalupe County Narcotics Task Force had reason to believe that 31-year-old, Blake Fisher Grimes, of San Antonio, Texas, and 32-year-old Antonia Marie Gonzalez had traveled to Seguin to sell a large quantity of Methamphetamine. Through the Task Force's investigation, Blake Grimes and Antonia Gonzalez were found in the parking lot of the Manuel C Castilla Park parking lot. The GCNTF made contact with Grimes and Gonzalez which led to a probable cause search of the vehicle. Narcotics Investigators with the Task Force found Grimes and Gonzales to have been in possession of 68.7 grams of crystalized methamphetamine and 2.7 grams of Alprazolam Pills. Grimes and Gonzalez were placed in custody for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 greater than 4 grams but less than 200 grams (DRUG FREE ZONE). Gonzalez provided the Task Force with a false name and was found to have two (2) active warrant out of Bexar County for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Gonzalez was also charged with Fail to Identify Fugitive from Justice. Grimes and Gonzalez were subsequently booked into the Guadalupe County Jail for the aforementioned charges. The Guadalupe County Narcotics Task Force is composed of Narcotics Investigators, Detectives and Criminal Interdiction Units from the Seguin Police Department, Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office, and the Cibolo Police Department.
