Open Records

Open records requests must be made in writing to the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office. There may be fees for the open records, depending upon the information that is requested.

Records may be obtained at the lobby of the Sheriff's Office, 2617 N. Guadalupe Street, Seguin, TX 78155, Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm.

You may download the Open Records Request form and send it to the Sheriff's Office by regular mail, fax: 830-372-1000 or the following email address: so.openrecords@co.guadalupe.tx.us. 

You will be contacted if fees are required, which must be paid prior to the release of records. The Sheriff's Office can only accept cash for the exact amount. Open records request can take up to ten (10) days to process.
