The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office has been made aware that several people in the area have received phone calls from someone claiming to be Sgt. Robert Locker with the Sheriff's Office and telling them they have warrants. Then requesting they send money through Bit Coin ATM. THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT GIVE MONEY ON ANY APP, BIT COIN ATM, GIFT CARDS OR ANY OTHER WAY. The phone number that is making this call is 830-339-2607. When this phone number is called it does have a recording that sounds official. THIS IS A SCAM!
