On March 28, 2024, at 10:56 pm the Guadalupe County Narcotics Task Force (GCNTF) conducted a narcotics operation in the city limits of Schertz, Guadalupe County. The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 900 counterfeit "M30" pills, suspected of containing Fentanyl.

As a result of the operation, Christian Vasquez, was arrested and booked into the Guadalupe County Jail on charges of Manufacture or Delivery of Substance in Penalty Group 1 four grams or more but less than 200 grams, Felony in the First Degree, as well as POCS PG1 one gram but less than four grams, Felony in the Third Degree.

The Guadalupe County Narcotics Task Force (GCNTF) is composed of Detectives, Investigators from Seguin Police Department, Cibolo Police Department, and the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office.
