SCAM ALERT
The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office has been made aware of people receiving calls from a male claiming to be a member of the Sheriff's Office. The male says they have a warrant for their arrest for missing jury duty and need to pay. THIS IS A SCAM

Remember, it is not standard procedure for any law enforcement agency to call you and request payment over the phone, and we do not request gift cards or Bitcoin as payment.

If you get a phone call like this, you can just hang up and call your local law enforcement.
