On January 22, 2020, The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit, along with the assistance of Cibolo  PD and Seguin PD special Crimes units, apprehended a suspect selling methamphetamine in the 17000 block of IH-35 South, Schertz, Texas.  Narcotics Investigators observed 36 Y/O Anthony Perez, of San Antonio selling methamphetamine  in a parking lot. Investigators were able to apprehend  Perez. Additionally, Investigators apprehend 42 Y/O Janette Martin of Marion, Texas who had been observed conducting the drug deal with Perez. Perez was found to also have a firearm in his vehicle.

Narcotics investigators seized  119.69 grams of Methamphetamine,

1 firearm, Bulk Narcotics Packaging Materials, and a Digital Scale.

Both Perez and Martin were booked into the Guadalupe County Adult Detention Center on charges of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 between 4 grams and 200 Grams.
