Arrest for Narcotics Warrant and More Narcotics Seized

On January 29, 2020, the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit, along with the assistance of Cibolo PD and Seguin PD Special Crimes unit and Patrol units, apprehended a wanted subject.  Jesse BARHIGHT was apprehended after a brief foot chase in the 100 block of Railroad St, Seguin, Texas. BARHIGHT was wanted out of Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 between 4 and 200 grams.

BARHIGHT was observed leaving his residence when narcotic investigators attempted to apprehend him, upon law enforcement contact BARHIGHT fled on foot, while being chased by deputies BARHIGHT dropped a baggie containing 29.13 grams of suspected methamphetamine. BARHIGHT was arrested a short distance away from where he fled.

Narcotic investigators subsequently executed a search warrant of BARHIGHT's residence and seized one handgun and a $660.00.

BARHIGHT was booked into the Guadalupe County Adult Detention Center.
