Burglar Arrested

The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division participated in a joint investigation of numerous burglaries, vehicle thefts, credit card thefts, ATV, UTV and trailer thefts with multiple agencies. The Seguin Police Department, Luling Police Department, Caldwell County Sheriff's Office, Hays County Sheriff's Office and Gonzales County Sheriff's Office all shared information which led to the arrest of Darwin "Trey" Heidemeyer.  During the investigation multiple suspects were developed and several stolen items were recovered. Investigators are continuing the search for further stolen property.

One of the cases investigated was in the 4500 block of FM 2438 and  resulted in the public being notified via the Reverse 9-1-1 system reference suspects in the area.

On March 6th, 2020, Guadalupe County Auto Theft Investigators and Hays County Sheriff's Office Investigator's located Darwin "Trey" Heidemeyer at Motel 6 in San Marcos Texas. Heidemeyer was arrested on two active warrants for Burglary of a Habitation and Theft of Property less than $2500.00, two or more convictions. The investigation continues and more warrants are expected.  This information is being released because we suspect that Darwin "Trey" Heidemeyer is a suspect in other burglaries in multiple counties so if anyone has any information on criminal acts committed by this suspect please contact your local law enforcement agency or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
