Two Arrests -Drugs, Gun and Money Seized

On 3/27/2020 The Guadalupe County Narcotics Unit conducted an operation in the City of Cibolo, resulting in the arrest of 2 suspects, 22 YOA Brandon Murrell and 26 YOA Dequentin Greer, both of San Antonio, Texas. Murrell and Greer were stopped by Investigators in the 200 block of Crimson Tree in Cibolo and were found to be in possession of 95 OxyContin pills; 127 Ecstasy Pills(MDMA); 9 Xanax Pills; 473.18 grams of Promethazine syrup; .22 grams of Marijuana; 1 handgun, and $565.00 in U.S. Currency. During the course of the investigation, investigators developed information that Murrell and Greer were delivering the narcotics.
Both subjects were booked into the Guadalupe County Adult Detention Center on charges of: Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 4-200 grams; Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2 4-400 grams; Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2 1-4 grams; Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 4 over 400 grams; Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 3 less than 28 grams.
The Guadalupe County Narcotics Unit is composed of investigators from the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office, Seguin Police Department Special Crimes Detectives, and Cibolo Police Department Narcotics Detectives. The Cibolo Police and Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office Patrol Divisions assisted in this operation.
