Four Arrests, Seized Drugs, Money and Firearms

On 5/6/2020, the Guadalupe County Narcotics Unit conducted a narcotics investigation in Schertz, Texas resulting in the arrest of 4 suspects. 2 traffic stops were conducted as a part of this investigation, one in the 3900 block of FM 3009 and another in the 3800 block of Forsyth Park at approximately 11:30PM. Narcotics Investigators seized 3.38 grams of Methamphetamine, 4.5 Xanax Pills, 2 firearms, 507 Rounds of Ammunition, and $3,608.00 in U.S. Currency.  Bobby Valdez 27 YOA, Destiny Alvarez 28 YOA, Raymond Gonzales 24 YOA, and Paul Manchaca 32 YOA; all four out of San Antonio, Texas were arrested and booked into the Guadalupe County Adult Detention Center. All four suspects were charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture or Deliver a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 (Methamphetamine) over 400 grams, Money Laundering $2.5k-$30K, and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. Raymond Gonzales faces additional charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 1-4 grams, Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 3 less than 28 grams, and Unlawful Carrying a Firearm.  Destiny Valdez faces an additional charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 less than 1 gram. Bobby Valdez was also booked for an active felony arrest warrant out of Bexar County for a Motion to revoke probation for an original charge of continuous violence against family member.

 

The Guadalupe County Narcotics Unit is composed of Narcotics Investigators from the Sheriff's Office, Seguin PD Special Crimes Detectives, and Cibolo PD Narcotics Detectives. Schertz PD Patrol, Universal City PD Patrol, and Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office Patrol assisted Narcotics Investigators at the scene.
