On May 13th the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office participated in the Healthcare Hero's and Nursing Home Week Parade that traveled past our five nursing homes and our two local assisted living centers.  Also participating in the parade were members of the Seguin Police Department, Seguin Fire Department, Seguin Jeepers, Guadalupe County Mounted Sheriff's Posse, Seguin Parrot Club and other community members and groups.  The residents of the homes gathered outside to watch the parade; as well as those who watched from their rooms.  Families and business members along the route were also able to enjoy seeing the support being shown to our Healthcare workers in Seguin and Guadalupe County.  Pictured is Sheriff Arnold Zwicke and members of the  Sheriff's Office receiving special cupcakes for their participation in the parade.
