Boat Patrol Division

The Boat Patrol Division has the responsibility for enforcing the laws in the recreational areas of Guadalupe County. This area includes the bodies of water at Lake McQueeney, Lake Placid, Lake Dunlap, and Meadow Lake.

The Boat Patrol Division is composed of highly trained Deputies who are trained in the operations of the patrol boat and jet skis. All Boat Patrol Deputies are certified.

If you visit the lakes within Guadalupe County, the Sheriff's Office hopes you have a great time, but also strongly encourages you to obey the laws and to use common sense. It is the Sheriff's Office goal to eliminate needless tragedies and its greatest tool in this effort is education.
