SCAM ALERT

The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office has been made aware of people receiving calls from a male claiming to be Sgt. Kelly Mann. This person is saying they had an unpaid loan and now have a warrant for their arrest. THIS IS A SCAM

Remember, it is not standard procedure for any law enforcement agency to call you and request payment over the phone and we do not ask for gift cards and bit coin as payment.

If you receive a phone call like this, hang up and call your local law enforcement. DO NOT GIVE PAYMENT OR PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE
