SCAM ALERT

The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office has been made aware of people receiving calls from 830-488-7687 with a male claiming to be Captain Robert Walker. This is not a Sheriff's Office phone number and we do not have a Robert Walker employed here. THIS IS A SCAM

Remember, it is not standard procedure for any law enforcement agency to call you and request payment over the phone and we do not ask for gift cards and bit coin as payment.

If you receive a phone call like this, hang up and call your local law enforcement. DO NOT GIVE PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE.
