Warrant Scam ALERT

It was reported that complainant received a phone call from the Sheriff's Office number 830-379-1224 and was told they had a warrant and to send money via gift cards to the suspects.
This is a scam and the phone number was spoofed
The Sheriff's Office does not request payment for fines through gift cards over the phone. If anyone receives a call like this, do not pay and report the incident to the Sheriff's office.
